Inner Voyage is a semi-supervised therapeutic game that puts patients in a VR world that uses deliberate stimuli to provoke positive emotions.
Using precision edge loop topology in Blender, I created custom-modeled animated elements, ensuring smooth deformations and natural movement throughout the experience. To enhance user comfort, I developed an innovative locomotion system featuring dynamic peripheral fade technology that minimizes VR-induced motion sickness. The experience includes an AI companion in the form of a responsive dog that utilizes real-time pathfinding algorithms to create natural and engaging fetch interactions. A key therapeutic element is the meditation system, which manifests as a dynamic pulsing sphere that guides users through breathing exercises. The project combines therapeutic principles with cutting-edge VR technology to create a uniquely personalized wellness experience.
